Options of venue that hosts an event of this size and within the budget of keeping ticketing affordable for attendees are limited in Perth. Options are wider if the cocktail format is adopted for the evening. Other options of venues considered for past events were Perth Convention Centre, Perth Art Gallery, or Frasers Hotel (but only seats up to 220 people). LIAWA Awards Committee had also considered the option of hiring a marquee was also considered for locations of Perth Cultural Centre, Matilda Bay, Swan Valley, Kings Park or Araluen Botanic Gardens. However due to time of the year and concerns of unpredictability of wet weather and noisiness of storms in marquees - we did not proceeed with this option.
Email LIAWA, and send us your best recommendations for consideration before Wed 19th July, 2017. We would love to hear from our creative community at LIAWA.
